Are you a hands-on electronics manufacturing expert looking for your next challenge? We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer to join our world-class team, supporting the design, documentation, and production of cutting-edge electronic assemblies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Translating customer drawings and parts lists into clear, production-ready documentation
- Creating and updating detailed Assembly Aids (AA's)
- Reviewing and inputting Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Supporting production teams to resolve technical issues and improve yields
- Liaising across departments and directly with customers on engineering matters
- Providing Design for Manufacture (DFM) feedback
- Supporting quality, sales, and continuous improvement activities
What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing
- Practical knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Wave and Robotic Soldering
- Hand Soldering
- PCB Inspection & Cleaning
- Electronic Testing (manual or automated)
- Cable & Wiring Assembly
- Box Build Assembly
- Conformal Coating
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in an electronic assembly or engineering technician role
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand electronic component specifications
- Confident creating manufacturing documents using Microsoft Word
- Experience with MRP stock systems is a plus
- Engineering qualifications (A-Level, BTEC or higher) are desirable
- A trade test may be required to confirm practical skills
