Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for a fresh opportunity with a growing, forward‑thinking business? We’re working with a fast‑expanding fire specialist that supports both commercial and residential clients. Due to continued growth, we’re now looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team. If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving and working with a variety of systems, this could be a great next step for you.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of fire and security systems, making sure everything is compliant, fully operational and safe. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, from routine maintenance visits to responding to emergency call‑outs, you’ll play a key role in keeping clients protected and systems running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems, CCTV (VSS) and other security systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently
  • Responding to reactive and emergency call‑outs
  • Completing clear and accurate service reports
  • Ensuring all work meets current legislation and industry standards
  • Taking part in an on‑call rota

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience as a multi‑disciplined Fire & Security Engineer
  • Good IT knowledge, including networks and connected devices
  • Confident working independently and managing your own workload
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
  • Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
  • Full clean UK driving licence
