Teamforce Labour is currently seeking an experienced Store Person / Telehandler Operator for an immediate start on a major infrastructure project in Fleetwood, Lancashire (FY7). This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with plenty of overtime and weekend work available. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of site materials, plant, and stores while supporting site operations through the safe operation of a telehandler.
As a Store Person, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site stores and yard, ensuring materials, tools, and plant are accurately controlled, maintained, and readily available to support the project.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a Telehandler to load, unload, and transport materials around site
- Receive, inspect, and sign in deliveries of materials, tools, and plant
- Issue and record materials, equipment, and plant to site personnel
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records
- Order and replenish stock as required to meet project demands
- Keep the stores area and site yard clean, organised, and well maintained
- Carry out regular stock checks and report shortages
- Liaise with site management and suppliers regarding deliveries and stock requirements
- Ensure all lifting and material handling activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures
- Comply with all site health, safety, and environmental regulations
