SSSTS/SMSTS Civils Site Supervisor

Teamforce Labour is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Civils Site Supervisor for upcoming groundworks and reinstatement projects in Nuneaton, Warwickshire (CV10).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Civil Engineering and Utilities contractors, working on challenging and rewarding infrastructure works.
We are looking for a confident, hands-on leader with a minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in civil engineering or groundworks, who can manage teams effectively while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of daily groundworks operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Oversee reinstatement of agricultural land – this experience is essential
• Manage and motivate groundworks teams to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to specification
• Monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring standards are maintained
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site stakeholders
• Report directly to site/project management

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in reinstatement of agricultural land
• Solid knowledge of groundworks techniques, processes, and materials
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• SSSTS or SMSTS (must be in date)
• 2 recent references
• Up-to-date CV outlining relevant experience
• Valid CSCS card – Gold or Black preferred

Desirable:

• Additional plant or safety-related certifications
• First Aid at Work
