Teamforce Labour are currently recruiting experienced and dependable Strapping Teams for upcoming Rail Safety Critical works across London, Kent and Sussex. These positions will involve working on planned rail possessions and infrastructure projects, supporting track operations and ensuring all strapping activities are carried out safely and efficiently within live railway environments.

  • Position: Strapping Teams
  • Locations: London, Kent & Sussex
  • Shift Patterns: Singles, Doubles & Triple Shifts Available
  • Dates: Friday 29th May – Sunday 31st May
  • Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekend Possessions
  • Duration: Week 9 Possession Works
  • Rates: Competitive rates available

Role & Responsibilities

  • Carry out rail strapping duties safely and in line with Network Rail procedures
  • Install and remove track circuit straps as required during possessions
  • Work closely with COSS teams, Engineering Supervisors, and rail management
  • Ensure all works are completed safely within planned possession times
  • Follow all site safety briefings and operational instructions
  • Maintain high safety standards within live rail environments
  • Report any issues, defects, or safety concerns immediately
  • Support the efficient delivery of rail infrastructure works

Requirements

  • Valid Sentinel Card with relevant competencies
  • In-date PTS certification
  • Previous experience carrying out rail strapping duties
  • Good understanding of Rail Safety Critical procedures and possession of working knowledge
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong awareness of rail site safety and communication protocols
  • Additional rail competencies advantageous
