Teamforce Labour is currently seeking a highly experienced Steelfixer Foreman for a long-term project in Uxbridge, West London. This is a superb opportunity for someone with a strong background in steel fixing who is ready to step up or already operating at a foreman level. You will be expected to lead a team of steelfixers, coordinate with site management, and ensure that all steel fixing works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of steelfixers on site
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with construction drawings and method statements
- Maintain quality control procedures and complete daily reports
- Liaise with site engineers and management to ensure work is completed to programme
- Monitor health & safety compliance and enforce standards on site
- Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments where required
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in steel fixing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman capacity
- Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – NVQ Level 2 in Steelfixing (or higher)
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Safety Critical Medical preferred (not essential)
- Two checkable references
- Up to date CV
