Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced PTS Groundworker with HSG47 for a long-term position, starting Monday 12th October. Rate: Negotiable Start Date: Monday 12th October Duration: Long-term Role & Responsibilities Carry out general groundworks and civils duties within a rail environment. Undertake excavation and safe digging works around underground services in accordance with HSG47 safe digging practices. Assist with drainage, ducting, trenching, concreting and reinstatement works. Read and understand service drawings and identify potential underground services prior to excavation. Use hand tools and small plant safely and correctly. Assist with the installation of drainage systems, ducts, chambers and associated civils works. Work closely with Site Supervisors, Machine Operators and other members of the site team. Follow RAMS, permits and site-specific procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working area. Carry out additional general site duties as required.Requirements Valid PTS Valid CSCS HSG47 / Safe Digging Around Underground Services Previous groundworks/civils experience Previous experience working within a rail environment preferred Good understanding of underground services and safe excavation practices Additional plant tickets such as Dumper/Roller advantageous Reliable with a strong understanding of site health & safety About Us Teamforce Labour is a trusted provider of skilled personnel to the Rail, Civil Engineering and Construction industries across the UK.
