Teamforce Labour are actively seeking experienced EUSR SCO 1 & 2 Permit Holders for upcoming works in Cambridge, CB2. Candidates must have previous experience working on Gas Sub-Stations & be extremely reliable. Job Summary: We are seeking EUSR SCO 1 & 2 Permit Holders with a strong understanding of Cadent Gas safety policies and procedures. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing all activities related gas connections, maintenance, and repair within their designated area. As a Competent Person, they will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance industry regulations and upholding our commitment to safety excellence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Hold responsibility for safely carrying out gas-related work within the Cadent Gas network as per SCO 1 & 2 standards. 2. Conduct thorough assessments of work sites to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures. 3. Interface with customers, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate gas connection activities adhering to company guidelines. 4. Carry out routine inspections on gas equipment, identifying any defects or malfunctions that require attention. 5. Respond promptly to emergency call-outs or reported incidents involving gas leaks or other issues requiring immediate attention. 6. Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken in accordance with regulatory requirements, including completion certificates, permit-to-work documentation, etc. Qualifications: – Valid EUSR card indicating competence in SCO 1 & 2 within the Cadent Gas network. – Extensive experience working in the gas industry with a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. – Strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration with both internal stakeholders (e.g., management) and external parties (e.g., customers). – Proven ability exercise sound judgment when making critical decisions related to the safe operation of gas networks.
