Teamforce Labour are currently seeking experienced COSS personnel for long-term rail infrastructure projects across Kent and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and safety-focused individuals looking for consistent work on established rail frameworks.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Acting as the Controller of Site Safety in accordance with Network Rail standards
- Setting up, managing, and maintaining safe systems of work
- Briefing work groups and ensuring all personnel understand site-specific risks
- Liaising with PICOPs, Engineering Supervisors, and site management
- Ensuring full compliance with railway rules, regulations, and safety procedures
- Completing relevant safety documentation and briefings
Requirements:
- Valid COSS competency (Network Rail approved)
- PTS with ICI
- Full understanding of Network Rail standards and procedures
- Right to work in the UK
- Full PPE
- Drug & alcohol and medical in date
Desirable (but not essential):
- Small Tools
- Handback / ES / SWL competencies
- Previous experience on long-term rail frameworks
