Teamforce Labour is currently recruiting for experienced Groundworker / Kerb Layers for an immediate start on a major civil engineering project in Barrow-in-Furness (LA13). This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with one of the UK's leading civil engineering contractors.
The role will involve:
- Kerb laying and edging works
- Road construction and installation
- Operating a Forward Tipping Dumper
- Operating a Ride-on Roller
- General groundworks and finishing works
- Working safely and efficiently as part of the site team
Requirements:
- A valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (preferred)
- Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Logo) Dumper & Roller certification (Essential)
- Street Works Operative (NRSWA) qualification (preferred but not essential)
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in groundworks, kerb laying, and road construction
- Proven ability to operate plant machinery safely and competently
- Two recent work references
- An up-to-date CV

- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in kerb laying and highway/civil engineering works
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
