Overview
Teamforce Labour is currently recruiting for an experienced Gantry Crane Operator to join a major civil engineering project in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable operator to work with one of the UKβs leading civil engineering contractors.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate gantry cranes in line with site requirements and lifting plans.
- Conduct pre-use checks and ensure the safe working condition of the crane.
- Work closely with lifting teams, slinger/signallers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth and safe operations.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, site rules, and company procedures.
- Assist with general site duties when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 yearsβ experience operating gantry cranes in a civil engineering or construction environment.
- Valid Blue CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Affiliated) card.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety standards.
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
