Teamforce Labour are currently recruiting experienced LXAs for long-term rail infrastructure projects across Kent and the South East. This role is ideal for safety-conscious and reliable individuals seeking stable, ongoing work within the rail sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring level crossings in line with Network Rail procedures
- Ensuring the safe passage of trains, vehicles, and pedestrians
- Communicating effectively with signallers and site management
- Maintaining constant vigilance and responding appropriately to incidents or irregularities
- Completing all required safety checks, logs, and documentation
- Complying fully with railway rules, standards, and safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid LXA competency (Network Rail approved)
- PTS with ICI
- Sound knowledge of Network Rail rules and level crossing procedures
- Right to work in the UK
- Full PPE
- Drug & alcohol and medical in date
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience on long-term rail projects
- Additional rail competencies
