Teamforce Labour is currently seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator for a long‑term position in Rossendale, Greater Manchester (BB4). This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Civil Engineering contractors, working on a major infrastructure project.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Telehandler to move materials around the construction site
- Load and unload deliveries efficiently and safely
- Supply trades and site teams with materials as required
- Carry out daily plant checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
- Assist with general site duties when required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Logo) Telehandler qualification
- Previous experience operating a Telehandler on busy construction or civil engineering sites
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hard‑working attitude
