We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support customers across the North & East of England, specialising in sheet metal and metal forming machinery.
The role focuses on the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of advanced industrial equipment including:
- CNC press brakes
- Sheet metal bending systems
- Metal forming machinery
- Laser cutting equipment
- CNC machine tools
Requirements
- HNC/ONC qualified or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance or service engineering
- Strong background in sheet metal, metal forming, or CNC machinery
- Experience with press brakes, lasers, benders, or cutting equipment preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to travel and stay away when required
Key Responsibilities
- Service and install sheet metal and metal forming machinery
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out repairs, upgrades, and commissioning work
- Replace and repair machine assemblies and control components
- Deliver customer operator training on-site
- Provide high levels of technical support and customer service
- Occasional overseas travel may be required at short notice
