The Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Test Technician to test, validate, commission and troubleshoot electrical systems, control panels and induction heating equipment.
You will ensure equipment is safe, reliable and compliant with customer requirements and industry standards.
- You will have
- ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Good knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition) and electrical safety standards.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience testing electrical systems and carrying out fault finding.
- Proficiency using electrical test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes and power analysers.
- Good communication, organisational and PC skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out functional, performance and safety testing of electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using appropriate test equipment.
- Verify compliance with customer specifications and relevant regulations.
- Analyse test results and produce accurate test reports.
- Maintain testing records in line with company procedures.
- Assist with commissioning, installations and troubleshooting at customer sites
