About The Role

Role Overview (Security & Facilities)
You’ll support the smooth running of this rural site by delivering front-of-house, security, and soft-services facilities support. This includes reception duties, cleaning supervision, contractor oversight, access control, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional front-of-house service for colleagues, visitors, and contractors.
- Oversee cleaning operations, complete audits, and ensure high service standards.
- Monitor and manage on-site contractors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security requirements.
- Manage access control, visitor verification, CCTV monitoring, security patrols, and incident reporting.
- Act as incident controller for fire alarms, evacuations, and emergency events in the absence of the regional facilities manager.
- Coordinate fire drills, liaise with fire wardens/emergency services, and complete post-incident reports.
- Handle incoming/outgoing post, deliveries, and general facilities tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and use site systems effectively.
- Promote a safe, secure, and customer-focused environment.
- Engage in ongoing training to maintain competence in both security and facilities functions.
About You
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential: SIA Security Guarding Licence, First Aid qualification, full UK driving licence.
Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely, contractor-management experience. Experience supervising cleaning or facilities teams; strong IT and communication skills. Knowledge of fire safety and evacuation procedures.
