A highly recognised, established market leader in the kitchen makeover/refurbishment industry with a network of c.100 franchisees across the UK is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their team. They are a multi-award winning, highly respected within the franchisee industry and is part of Neighbourly UK's group of brands, which focuses on repairing, maintaining and enhancing customers' homes and businesses.
This is a part-time role, with various shift patterns available: Monday – Wednesday followed by Thursday – Saturday or Thursday – Saturday followed by Monday – Wednesday.
As the Sales Consultant you will:
- Be the first point of contact for the showroom, guiding customers through the kitchen makeover journey.
- Carry out daily showroom and administrative duties, ensuring the showroom is welcoming, organised, and reflective of our brand standards.
- Manage enquiries via telephone, email, social media and face-to-face interactions, ensuring all relevant information is gathered from customer enquiries prior to booking a home and showroom visit to understand customers’ needs.
- Provide expert advice and design consultations to help clients reimagine their kitchens using our makeover solutions.
- Present customers with the products and services we offer, such as kitchen doors, worktops, storage solutions, appliances, lighting, flooring, handles, etc.
- Help customers choose colours and styles.
- Arrange and book appointments for the Retail & Operations Manager to carry out home visits.
- Outline expectations to prospective customers and provide a positive impression.
- Under the direction of the Retail & Operations Manager, liaise with installers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery from consultation to completion.
- Keep displays fresh, clean, and inspiring, showcasing the latest trends and product innovations, in line with current brand guidelines.
- Carry out general duties around the showroom as required, such as stock take, ensuring the stock room and showroom are tidy.
- Open/close showroom (key holder duties).
We are looking for a Sales Consultant with the following skills and experience:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ideally worked within a retail kitchen setting (or interior design).
- Understanding and awareness of home transformation and design.
- A background in retail sales is advantageous.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office/CRM).
- Excellent communication skills and customer service knowledge.
- Able to demonstrate strong organisational ability.
- Ability to work independently, identify challenges and be solution focused.
