The predicted salary is between 42131 - 51493 Β£ per year.

Creating a home where children feel safe, supported and able to make positive progress starts with strong leadership. As the Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for an Ofsted-registered service in Redbridge, leading the team and maintaining the standards children deserve.

This position is specifically for someone with previous experience managing an Ofsted-registered children's home for children under 18. Experience limited to supported living, adult social care or 16+ supported accommodation will not meet the requirements.

Visa sponsorship is available for candidates who require a change/switch of sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the home, maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure the service operates in line with Ofsted regulations and residential childcare standards
  • Oversee care planning and ensure children receive safe, appropriate and consistent support
  • Lead, support and develop the residential childcare team to maintain effective service delivery
  • Maintain robust safeguarding practices, policies, records and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain readiness for Ofsted inspections

What we are looking for in a Registered Manager:

  • Previous experience as an Ofsted-registered manager of a children's home supporting children under 18; experience solely within 16+ supported accommodation, supported living or adult social care will not be considered
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, care planning and residential childcare standards
  • Experience leading and developing teams within a residential childcare setting; experience managing a service rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted is desirable
  • Good written and spoken English, plus a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive
  • Candidates must currently require a change/switch of visa sponsorship and be willing to relocate to East London if required
