Your responsibilities:
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex faults, commissioning activities and system performance issues
- Diagnose problems using SCADA, remote monitoring platforms and technical documentation to determine effective repair strategies
- Support field engineers with troubleshooting, guidance and manufacturer liaison across a nationwide portfolio
- Analyse performance data, produce reports and recommend improvements to maximise energy generation
- Support warranty claims, new contract mobilisation and the development of standards, procedures and fault-finding documentation
- Deliver coaching and knowledge sharing to engineering teams while practices aligned with the latest industry developments
What we're looking for:
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial Solar PV systems and Operations & Maintenance activities
- Experience using SCADA and remote monitoring platforms to diagnose faults and analyse system performance
- Knowledge of inverter technologies, communication protocols including Modbus, RS485, Ethernet and fibre communications, plus the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Experience commissioning, recommissioning and troubleshooting commercial Solar PV systems, including manufacturer liaison and warranty support
- Understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) integration and a full UK driving licence
Working hours: Full-time, office-based, Monday to Friday.
