Your responsibilities as Purchasing Coordinator:
- Maintain procurement systems, databases and reporting tools, including MRP systems
- Support supplier management activities and strengthen supplier relationships
- Assist with tender processes, product range management and new product introduction projects
- Place and expedite orders to ensure continuity of material supply
- Monitor inventory levels and help reduce excess or obsolete stock
- Track supplier performance, stock accuracy and service level KPIs while ensuring compliance with procurement procedures
What we're looking for in a Purchasing Coordinator:
- Previous experience within a purchasing, procurement or buying environment, ideally within manufacturing
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and data management capability
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems, with Sage X3 knowledge advantageous
- Degree-level education or equivalent qualification preferred
- CIPS qualification, or currently working towards achieving it
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
