An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to join a well-established and reputable global manufacturing group of businesses producing control systems for industrial applications. Along with a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, the package includes private healthcare, 23 days holiday, plus other benefits.
You will provide support to the Sales Director and manage a wide range of administrative tasks including executive communication, handling of personal and company data, and arranging global travel and large-scale events. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will be involved in a wide range of business operations, taking a proactive and flexible approach, whilst working with confidentiality and discretion. The role also involves some general reception duties.
As Personal Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- End to end travel bookings – international travel, flights, accommodation, visas, restaurant bookings, itineraries.
- Diary management
- Report writing and collation
- Minuting meetings
- Expenses processing
- Taking calls coming into reception and handling enquiries
- Greeting visitors and preparing refreshments
- Keeping reception area and meeting rooms tidy and organised
- Event logistics management (conferences and exhibitions) including venue research, contract negotiation, invitations, attendee list management, and working closely with the marketing team.
We are looking for a Personal Assistant with the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, or in a similar senior administrative position supporting Senior Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Professional, articulate and proactive
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Adept at multitasking and prioritising own workload
