As the Electronics Test Engineer / Technician you will:

  • Be involved in maintenance, installations, troubleshooting and commissioning of high value electronic equipment and real time monitoring systems.
  • Be trained in working with the specific systems within a supportive team environment.
  • Be involved in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), documenting results and resolving issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, coordinating repairs as needed.
  • Support mobilisation of survey equipment, including installation and mounting systems on site.
  • Communicate with customers as required during installation and commissioning activities, keeping them informed of progress and responding to requests in a timely fashion.

We are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer / Technician with:

  • Previous experience with electronic equipment, instrumentation, or technical systems including troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  • A background in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Any experience with survey equipment, sensors, or data acquisition systems in a field-based role would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
  • Good communication skills and customer-facing experience are essential in this role.

This is a field-based role, you must be comfortable with extensive travel and working at client sites, and as such, you will need a full manual UK driving license.

In return you will receive a salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum plus:
