Operations Director - Crypto Gaming

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Director with Crypto experience, to join a young start up with experienced leaders and backers, looking to launch and operate a range of games in the crypto space. This role is Hybrid and will require working from the Central London office 3 days a week, with a further 2 days from home.

They’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Director of Operations to oversee and enhance their operational processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive understanding of operations including marketing, product, fraud etc and be able to tie it all together, as well as having expertise in the Crypto industry.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities for the Operations Director:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies that align with our clients’ goals and objectives.
2. Oversee daily operations, enhance efficiency and performance through process development and implementation.
3. Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
5. Oversee human resource activities such as hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
7. Develop and maintain fraud policies, procedures, and processes.
8. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across marketing, sales, and product teams.
9. Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively to optimise operational performance.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the crypto gaming industry.
11. Stay current on industry trends and developments to make informed decisions and recommendations.
12. Prepare reports on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

We’re looking for an Operations Director with:

1. Experience in the Crypto space with experience of organisational procedures is essential.
2. Experience working on risk related products, including leading high performing teams.
3. Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced setting, as well as understanding regulatory needs in the crypto industry.
4. Strong leadership skills with proven record of running effective operations teams.
5. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
7. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used for operations management.
8. A degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
