The quality of the setting out, checks and information on site can make the difference between keeping a major rail project moving and costly delays.

As a Site Engineer, youll take a hands-on role in delivering civil engineering works in Norwich, making sure construction is completed accurately, safely and in line with the latest drawings and specifications.

Youll be working on a rail infrastructure project involving soil nails, earthworks and drainage, with accommodation provided and additional earning potential through overtime.

Previous rail experience is required, and while a valid PTS would be advantageous, sponsorship can be provided if you dont currently hold one.

Whats in it for you £300£380 per day Accommodation provided Overtime available to increase your earnings 6-month contract on a major rail infrastructure project PTS sponsorship available for suitable candidates Varied civil engineering works including soil nails, earthworks and drainage Your responsibilities as Site Engineer Carry out accurate setting out using EDM and GPS equipment Complete QA documentation, RFIs and ITPs correctly and maintain appropriate project records Read construction drawings, quantify materials and ensure works follow the latest approved information Support site management with materials, KPIs, progress reporting and distribution of project information Maintain an accurate daily site diary covering progress and construction activities Identify potential site issues early and support practical solutions to keep works progressing What were looking for in a Site Engineer Previous experience working on rail and civil engineering projects Experience of soil nails, earthworks and drainage works Competence using EDM and GPS equipment for setting out Strong understanding of drawings, material quantities, QA processes, RFIs and ITPs PTS certification would be advantageous, although sponsorship can be provided Working hours: Full-time.

Overtime is available.
