Manufacturing Engineers don't often sit this close to real operational change. You'll help shape safer processes while directly influencing how engineering and production teams operate day to day. This is an opportunity to step into a role where safety isn't just compliance - it's embedded into engineering design, process improvements and new equipment introduction. Working closely with the site's EHS leadership and manufacturing teams, you'll play a key role in driving safer, smarter manufacturing operations.

What you'll be getting stuck into:

  • Supporting the delivery of health and safety improvement projects across operations
  • Contributing to risk assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work reviews
  • Investigating incidents and near misses to identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Ensuring processes align with UK legislation including HASAWA, PUWER and COSHH
  • Supporting COSHH assessments, hazardous substance control and LEV compliance activities
  • Designing and improving manufacturing processes, layouts and tooling with safety built in

What you'll bring to the table as a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Understanding of UK health and safety legislation and manufacturing safety standards
  • Experience supporting risk assessments and safety improvement initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, production and EHS teams
