Your responsibilities as HSE Manager
- Lead the site's health, safety and environmental agenda, embedding a proactive safety‑first culture.
- Drive behavioural safety programmes and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Monitor performance data, identify trends and develop practical improvement plans.
- Provide expert guidance and support to managers on all health, safety and environmental matters.
What we're looking for in a HSE Manager
- Previous leadership experience within health, safety and environmental functions in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- IOSH membership at TechIOSH level or above.
- Strong working knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Experience investigating incidents, analysing trends and implementing improvements.
- Experience gained within heavy manufacturing, engineering, COMAH‑regulated or other high-risk industries would be highly advantageous.
