As an HR and Payroll Administrator, you'll help keep those essential processes running smoothly while becoming a trusted first point of contact for day-to-day employee queries.

You'll join a growing organisation and work closely with the HR Manager as part of a small supportive People team.

Alongside managing core administration and payroll data, you'll have the opportunity to spot better ways of working and contribute to improvements across the department.

Your responsibilities as HR and Payroll Administrator Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing accurate guidance and escalating matters where appropriate.

Manage administration across starters, contractual changes, leavers, time and attendance, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.

Collate and check employee data for pay processing, investigating discrepancies and providing supporting evidence where required.

Maintain employee information within the HRIS and produce accurate reports for the wider People team.

Support absence monitoring, recruitment and induction, including creating adverts, reviewing applications and arranging interviews.

Prepare employee correspondence, templates and forms while reviewing administrative processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

What were looking for in a HR and Payroll Administrator Proven experience delivering day-to-day people administration ideally gained within a small to medium business.

Experience administering payroll data, checking information and producing reports.

CIPD Level 3 qualification or currently working towards it would be advantageous.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and experience analysing data; VLOOKUP and Pivot Table knowledge would be an advantage.

Experience maintaining accurate employee records and working with HR information systems.

Adaptability and ability to use own initiative and good problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Working hours: 25 hours per week across five days.
