Your responsibilities as HR Advisor:

  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary issues, grievances and absence management
  • Produce contracts, letters and employment documentation in line with company policies and legislation
  • Support recruitment activities including job descriptions, candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding
  • Contribute to engagement initiatives, organisational change programmes and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate employee records and produce reports to support compliance, audits and decision-making
  • Review and support the development of policies to ensure alignment with current employment legislation and best practice

What we're looking for in a HR Advisor:

  • Previous experience within a generalist human resources position
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations processes
  • Experience supporting managers with people-related matters and policy application
  • Previous involvement in recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
  • Ability to maintain accurate HR records and produce meaningful management information

Working Hours:

Mostly office-based with one day working from home. Full-time hours preferred, although part-time hours will be considered.
