Working closely with the Financial Controller as Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading daily, weekly and month-end reporting processes
  • Managing general ledger, fixed assets and inventory
  • Delivering detailed variance analysis and cost centre reporting
  • Supporting budget preparation, central returns and audit activity
  • Reviewing payroll checks and approving purchase orders
  • Maintaining strong internal controls and driving process improvement
  • Supporting and developing members of the finance team (2 Accounts Assistants and 1 Credit Controller)

To succeed as Management Accountant, you'll bring:

  • Proven management accounting experience within a large or complex organisation, ideally manufacturing
  • Professional accounting qualification or finalist accountant status CIMA / ACA / ACCA
  • Strong systems knowledge, ideally SAP, alongside advanced Excel capability
  • Confident leadership style with the ability to manage and develop a small team
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
