Working closely with the Financial Controller as Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading daily, weekly and month-end reporting processes
- Managing general ledger, fixed assets and inventory
- Delivering detailed variance analysis and cost centre reporting
- Supporting budget preparation, central returns and audit activity
- Reviewing payroll checks and approving purchase orders
- Maintaining strong internal controls and driving process improvement
- Supporting and developing members of the finance team (2 Accounts Assistants and 1 Credit Controller)
To succeed as Management Accountant, you'll bring:
- Proven management accounting experience within a large or complex organisation, ideally manufacturing
- Professional accounting qualification or finalist accountant status CIMA / ACA / ACCA
