A food manufacturing company is seeking a Field Sales Representative to join their team covering London based routes working 09.00 – 17.00, Monday to Friday.
As the Field Sales Representative you will:
- Actively generate new business through cold calling, lead sourcing, and prospecting within your assigned territory.
- Drive a company-owned van to visit customers, delivering products while upselling and cross‑selling to maximise order value.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients, identifying growth opportunities and increasing sales volumes.
- Present and demonstrate products effectively and highlight key benefits and promotions.
- Identify new prospect customers and close deals to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Maintain detailed records of sales calls, lead activity, and customer conversations using sales software or a CRM.
- Monitor new market trends, new product opportunities, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Keep the delivery van organised, clean, and well‑maintained, reporting issues promptly.
We are looking for a Field Sales Representative with:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally in a field‑based or route sales environment.
- Strong cold‑calling and lead‑generation skills with the confidence to approach new prospects.
- Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
