A food manufacturing company is seeking a Field Sales Representative to join their team covering London based routes working 09.00 – 17.00, Monday to Friday.

As the Field Sales Representative you will:

  • Actively generate new business through cold calling, lead sourcing, and prospecting within your assigned territory.
  • Drive a company-owned van to visit customers, delivering products while upselling and cross‑selling to maximise order value.
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients, identifying growth opportunities and increasing sales volumes.
  • Present and demonstrate products effectively and highlight key benefits and promotions.
  • Identify new prospect customers and close deals to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales calls, lead activity, and customer conversations using sales software or a CRM.
  • Monitor new market trends, new product opportunities, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Keep the delivery van organised, clean, and well‑maintained, reporting issues promptly.

We are looking for a Field Sales Representative with:

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in a field‑based or route sales environment.
  • Strong cold‑calling and lead‑generation skills with the confidence to approach new prospects.
  • Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • Customer‑focused approach with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Target‑driven, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with accurate record‑keeping abilities.

In return you will receive a salary of ÂŁ30,000 - ÂŁ35,000 per annum plus commission and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
