An established engineering company who have been trading in the area since 1980 with an excellent reputation in their field are seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. In that time they have built up a great client base, grown their product offering, kept up with technology and invested in their people.
As the CNC Programmer you will:
- Program, Set and Run CNC turning, CNC milling, manual drilling, turning.
- Use of EdgeCAM CAM package.
- Programming of Fanuc Lathes.
- Programming of WinMAX Hurco Mills.
- Set and Run Machines.
We are looking for a CNC Programmer with the following Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Good engineering background.
- Team player.
- Skilled in machining small batch precision components in motorsport/aerospace environments.
- Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings.
- Experienced in Cad/Cam using the latest Delcam Power mill and Power shape software creating CNC programs to produce the finished product.
- Good experience able to work from job cards, CAD data and drawings.
- Able to programme offline, understanding of both Fanuc and Heidenheimer controls is preferable.
You will be using Fanuc controlled machines; however, good programming experience will be considered.
You will be joining a company who continually invest in new equipment and the training and development of their employees offering a salary of £36,000 - £42,000 per annum depending on experience plus 25 days holiday + Bank holidays - Half Day Fridays - Paid overtime. Free Parking - Full time Mon to Fri 38.75 hours each week.
