CNC Cell Leader in Coventry

An experienced CNC Cell Leader is required to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy CNC production area. Youll lead a team of operators, ensuring machines run smoothly, output targets are met, and quality standards are maintained.

Shifts & Wages:
Fixed Day shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-16:00 – £35,000 per annum
Fixed Night Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-07:00 – £38,000 per annum

As CNC Cell Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and supporting CNC operators during the shift.
• Planning and allocating workloads to meet production schedules.
• Leading daily briefings and ensuring smooth shift handovers.
• Monitoring performance and driving efficiency using production data.
• Applying Lean practices to reduce waste and improve processes.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and 5S.
• Supporting operator training, onboarding, and development.
• Promoting a strong culture of health and safety.
• Working with maintenance to ensure machines remain in top condition.

Were looking for a CNC Cell Leader with:

• Previous experience in a CNC machining environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC operations and tooling.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in production.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and process improvements.
• Confident communicator with good problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and quality-focused approach.
