Are you a fully qualified Client Manager looking to join a firm that values its people, offers real ownership of your client portfolio, and supports your ongoing progression? This is an opportunity to step into a role within an established accountancy practice, taking ownership of your clients while supporting and developing a wider team. You will be working with experienced colleagues across accounts and tax, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to build strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities as Client Manager:

  • Managing your own portfolio with minimal Partner oversight
  • Acting as the main point of contact
  • Leading meetings, including onboarding and review meetings
  • Reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements
  • Reviewing corporate and personal tax returns
  • Supporting routine tax planning work
  • Ensuring all work is delivered accurately and within deadlines
  • Managing workflow across your portfolio and overseeing team delivery
  • Delegating and reviewing work to support junior team members
  • Identifying opportunities for additional work with existing clients
  • Providing commercially focused support to clients

What we are looking for in a Client Manager:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience within an accountancy practice
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio
  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
  • Confident reviewing work and managing relationships
  • Strong organisational and workflow management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach

This is a full-time, permanent role, offering hybrid (1 day per week from home) and flexible working.
