As a Class 1 Container Driver, youll keep containers moving efficiently between Tilbury and Purfleet ports and the Grays site, with flexible day, night and weekend shifts available.
This is ongoing ad hoc work rather than a permanent position, making it well suited to experienced drivers looking for additional shifts and flexibility.
Previous container experience is desirable but isnt essential, as full site training will be provided.

Your responsibilities as Class 1 Container Driver Collect shipping containers from Tilbury and Purfleet ports and deliver them safely to the Grays site.
Complete approximately five container movements during a typical shift.
Couple and uncouple trailers safely when required.
Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks before starting work.
Complete relevant paperwork accurately for each movement.
Follow site procedures, road transport regulations and health and safety requirements.
What were looking for in a Class 1 Container Driver A valid Category CE driving licence with established commercial driving experience.
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
Good working knowledge of UK driving regulations.
You must be aged 25 or over to meet insurance requirements.
