Our client is a fast‑growing group of SMEs in the MedTech sector, set for significant expansion over the next 3 to 5 years. In support of this ambition and the next phase of growth, they are seeking a senior Head of HR & Transformation to lead the people agenda across the entire group at a pivotal moment in its evolution. You will be 100% remote based, travelling to multi sites around the country, as required. This is not a role for someone who wants to simply advise from the sidelines. You will be the CEO’s trusted partner, translating people strategy into tangible outcomes and designing and delivering transformation at pace. If you are an ambitious, visionary HR leader who thrives on both strategic influence and hands‑on delivery, this is a rare and exciting opportunity.
As Head of HR & Transformation, you will take full ownership of the people strategy across the group, with a strong focus on acquisition integration, organisational transformation, and new site launches. You will shape how the organisation attracts, develops, retains, and inspires its people whilst steering the people dimension of M&A activity and embedding a culture that enables high performance and growth.
What you’ll bring as Head of HR & Transformation:
- A forward‑thinking, emotionally intelligent HR leader who thrives in fast‑moving, evolving environments
- High energy, clarity of thought, and the conviction to lead with empathy and purpose
- Commercial acumen and the gravitas to operate confidently at SLT level
- Significant experience of the people function at a senior level and within a M&A environment, including a clear, practical understanding of TUPE processes
- Proven experience within the manufacturing sector so familiar with shift patterns, unions and an appreciation of health & safety in this situation
- A strong track record of delivering high‑quality HR leadership at a senior level
- Proven capability in organisational transformation and leadership development
- Exceptional communication skills and sound strategic decision‑making with the ability to manage risk effectively when necessary
- A HR professional who wants to see transformation through end‑to‑end, not just design it
