The Role
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of a designated regional portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong operational performance, and high levels of client satisfaction. You'll act as a key point of contact for clients while leading teams across multiple sites, maintaining operational standards, managing financial performance, and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational activities across your designated portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery
- Manage the finances for each site, expecting to maximise profit through tight management of direct costs and ad‑hoc work
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular KPI and review meetings
- Produce reports, action plans, and client‑specific documentation in a timely manner
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities and collaborating with the regional sales team
- Ensure effective deployment and utilisation of personnel across all sites
- Monitor current threat levels and implement operational action plans where required
- Conduct investigations, disciplinary, and grievance hearings in line with company policy
- Drive team performance through leadership, supervision, coaching, and regular appraisals
- Support contract mobilisation and operational changes when required
- Maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations across a busy 24/7 environment as part of a wider management team
About You

Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience as an Account Manager
- Minimum 2 years' experience within Operations/Security
- Proven experience leading and managing teams
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Experience managing KPIs and operational performance reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Flexible approach with the ability to support a 24/7 operation when required
