This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced security professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service standards.

Position: Security Manager

Location: Education setting, High Wycombe

Salary: £49,000 per annum

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 19:00

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and supervising all security personnel on site
  • Ensuring staffing levels and rosters meet contractual requirements
  • Acting as the first point of contact for security and staff-related issues
  • Maintaining accurate incident logs, reports, and operational documentation
  • Conducting regular patrols and overseeing site access control procedures
  • Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems and responding appropriately to incidents
  • Leading emergency response procedures, evacuations, and incident management
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and security legislation
  • Supporting and developing team members through coaching and training
  • Liaising closely with clients to maintain excellent service delivery standards
  • Managing visitor records, key control systems, and goods in/out procedures
  • Identifying and reporting suspicious activity and security risks

Qualifications:

  • 2 years+ management within the security industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Calm, confident, and capable under pressure
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and incident management
