We are looking for a Workshop Machinist to join our Wilton team and contribute to precision engineering excellence.
Role Purpose:
Perform a variety of precision machining tasks in our workshop, delivering high-quality components while adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to produce precision-engineered parts from metal or plastic/composite materials.
- Set up and work with:
- Horizontal and vertical boring machines
- Centre lathes for turning operations
- Milling machines
- Grinding machines
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Machining, ONC in Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar machinist role.
- High proficiency with horizontal/vertical borers and centre lathes.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerancing.
