Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse with a Level 3 (or Level 2) qualification in childcare? Are you eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young children? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Reeson Education are working in partnership with an esteemed Barking based primary school who are seeking an exceptional Nursery Nurse to join their friendly team on a full time basis.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or happy to complete a DBS

Nursery Nurse responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in your care
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and updating parents/caregivers regularly
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development through positive interactions and role modelling
  • Work closely with parents/caregivers, providing regular feedback on their child's development and offering guidance on fostering a supportive learning environment at home
  • Participate in daily activities such as Yoga sessions, Forest School and music and movement sessions
