The successful applicant would be joining a small but outstanding SEN school in Hackney for children with ASD and SLD needs. This is an OfSTED rated outstanding special school for pupils aged 2-11 years, who have severe and complex learning differences. SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement personalised educational programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and educational psychologists.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting approaches as necessary.
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development at home and in school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
