Team Support is pleased to partner with a trusted client in seeking an additional HGV Class 2 Driver to join their dedicated team in Park Royal. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a reliable role that keeps essential operations running smoothly during one of the busiest times of the year.
Working Hours: Any 5 over 6 days 04:30 - 13:30
Pay Rate: £38,000, plus holiday pay and available overtime
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
- Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised.
- Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service.
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
Requirements:
- HGV CLASS 2 license (minimum 12 months C+E experience).
- No penalty points.
- Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards.
- Strong understanding of Drivers Hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive.
- Excellent geographical knowledge.
- Customer-focused attitude.
