We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our Housing Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining flats, communal areas, and closes to a high standard. This role requires driving a company van to various housing properties, so a valid driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean void and occupied flats to a high standard
  • Clean communal areas including closes, stairwells, landings, and entrances
  • Remove litter and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required
  • Report any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
  • Drive a company van to travel between properties
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are completed within required timeframes

Requirements:

  • Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to drive a van confidently and safely
  • Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good understanding of health & safety practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
