Our client is seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Catering Manager to oversee the catering operation within a welcoming school environment in Epping, CM16. Key Responsibilities- Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff
- Leading, supporting, and motivating the catering team
- Managing stock ordering, deliveries, and minimising waste effectively
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Ensuring all dietary and allergen requirements are met
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
- Delivering a consistently high standard of food and service
- Previous experience as a Catering Manager, Chef Manager, School Chef, or similar
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen compliance
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Reliable, professional, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy kitchen environment
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and service
- School catering experience desirable but not essential
- Monday to Friday only no weekends
