We are looking for BACKSHIFT DISPATCH OPERATIVES for our client in Airdrie.
- Monitor and check wash plant machinery to ensure it is running correctly.
- Running wash plant equipment (washing drums, flumes, conveyors, pumps).
- Checking potatoes are being cleaned properly and consistently.
- Removing damaged or unsuitable produce during the process.
- Monitoring water flow, cleanliness, and machine settings.
- Basic fault finding (e.g., blockages or jams) and reporting issues to engineers.
- Keeping the area clean and meeting hygiene and food safety standards.
- Following health & safety procedures at all times.
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 1:00am
Full-time Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks, subject to performance.
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour with an increase after 12 weeks.
