We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Opthalmic Scrub Nurse to join our clinical team, supporting a range of opthalmic procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for opthalmic procedures, including cataract and retinal surgery
- Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring instruments and equipment are ready and available
- Deliver high standards of patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and clinical governance standards
You must:
- Be a registered nurse (NMC) or ODP with valid UK registration
- Previous scrub experience in opthamology essential
- Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and theatre protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
