We are an award-winning, vibrant and dynamic holiday camp provider, offering children aged 3-16 years an exciting and active environment to explore, learn, and thrive. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate Early Years Specialist to lead our Super Stars cohort (ages 3-7) at our holiday camps.
About the Role
As the Super Stars Lead, you will be responsible for delivering fun, engaging, and enriching activities for our youngest campers, while ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Working closely with the Management Team, you will also support with operational duties to ensure the smooth running of the camp.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Super Stars (ages 3-7) in varied sports, team-building, and arts and crafts activities, ensuring high levels of energy, interaction, and enjoyment.
- Manage and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring the wellbeing and happiness of the children in your care.
- Support with daily sign-in and sign-out procedures, engaging positively with parents and guardians.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe classroom environment for the Super Stars group.
- Enforce safeguarding and behaviour policies to create a secure and respectful atmosphere.
- Set high standards of work and professionalism at all times, acting as a role model for the team.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
- Experience working with Early Years children, particularly within the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
- Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support broader camp operations as required.
