This is a split role combining two exciting responsibilities: Track Marshal & Host and Coach - Alternative Provision.
As a Track Marshal / Host, you will:
- Greet and register drivers, deliver safety briefings, and commentate on races.
- Assist customers with race suits, helmets, and kart safety checks.
- Marshal races, wave flags, and keep events running smoothly.
- Upsell merchandise, memberships, and events while meeting team targets.
As a Coach in Alternative Provision, you will:
- Lead small group lessons in Functional Skills (Maths & English) and support vocational sessions (Motor Vehicle Studies - training provided).
- Create a safe, positive learning environment for young people, many with SEMH needs.
- Track progress, manage behaviour positively, and collaborate with the Fast Forward education team.
- Champion safeguarding and ensure inclusive, engaging learning experiences.
What We're Looking For:
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in teaching, classroom leadership, or youth work (QTS not required).
- Ability to manage behaviour and engage learners creatively.
- Flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic - ready to adapt to two dynamic roles!
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Functional Skills curriculum.
- Experience with SEMH learners or alternative provision.
- Interest in vocational education (automotive/mechanical).
