We’re looking for a highly organised Marketing Operations Executive to support our Marketing Strategy & Operations Manager and help keep the department running smoothly day to day. This role is all about structure, visibility, and momentum. You’ll take the lead on workload management, tracking, and process – freeing up senior stakeholders to focus on strategy and delivery. You’ll be a central point of coordination across the marketing team, helping turn plans into action and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
This role is key to making our marketing team more effective. By taking ownership of operations, tracking, and coordination, you’ll create space for better planning, clearer priorities, and stronger delivery across the department – and have a real impact on how marketing operates day to day. This role will be based fully in-house at our Team Valley offices.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning and managing our marketing work management system (e.g. Jira, Wrike or similar)
- Maintaining project boards to ensure work is clearly prioritised, tracked, and visible
- Chasing updates, managing progress, and flagging risks or blockers
- Supporting function leads to translate plans into clear, actionable workstreams
- Owning marketing process documentation, including creation, filing, and ongoing maintenance
- Ensuring documentation is easy to find, up to date, and consistently used
- Managing and organising shared drives (e.g. OneDrive, Dropbox) to improve accessibility and efficiency
- Organising brief meetings and intake sessions across the department
- Taking in requests, clarifying requirements, and helping shape workable plans
- Supporting communication between teams to keep delivery aligned
- Supporting annual leave tracking, sickness logging, and associated documentation
- Providing day-to-day operational support to the marketing leadership team
- Supporting with marketing reporting and data collation
- Preparing materials for meetings, updates, and reviews
- Creating and maintaining UTM links and marketing trackers
- Keeping key marketing activity trackers accurate and up to date
- Supporting clear, consistent communication across the marketing department
- Helping ensure priorities, plans, and updates are shared effectively
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a marketing operations, project coordination, or operations-focused role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence working with work management tools (e.g. Jira, Wrike, Asana, Monday, or similar)
- Comfortable chasing progress and holding teams accountable in a positive, professional way
- Strong attention to detail and process-led thinking
- Clear communicator who can work across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Proactive mindset – spotting issues and improving ways of working
Nice to have
- Experience working in a fast-paced or scaling marketing team
- Experience documenting and improving processes
