Job purpose
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing and ensuring best practices are carried out at all times.
Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)
Safety, quality management and responsible for the delivery within the Production Departments.
Manage the Production Team to deliver its outputs.
Manages compliance of all supervised areas.
Input to preparation of budgets and forecasting.
Capex reporting.
Works to maximise production capacity by establishing, adjusting and monitoring production schedules consistent with master schedules.
Responsible for scheduling the production of new manufactured and after-market products for delivery to customers.
Thorough understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in the operational area.
Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions.
Knowledge of company’s business practices including strategic planning, budgeting and staffing.
Introduction and maintenance of operational systems to achieve process improvements.
Management and development of teams.
Any other duties, as required by the Company.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required by the Vice President Subsea Vehicles.
Education/Qualifications (essential):
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience. 8+ years manufacturing experience.
3+ years management experience.
Technical Competencies (essential):
Technical leadership and motivational skills.
Sound manufacturing knowledge.
Attention to detail and effective checking regime.
Good verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work in a team environment and problem solve.

Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate Supervisor such that remedial action can be taken to manage the risk.
