Our client based in Aberdeen are looking for a Storeman to join their team on a temp to staff basis.

Job Role:

  • To carry out delivery and collection of materials to and from suppliers and customers as requested and required.
  • To undertake works in connection with the issuing of stores material, the maintenance of stock and receiving goods from external suppliers and customers.
  • Responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections as required by the company, Customers and Suppliers.
  • Ensure the receiving of materials is carried out accurately and in a timely manner, checking for damage, quantity and appropriate certification. Training to be given where required.
  • Processing delivery notes and certification for receipting purposes originating from the company Purchase Orders.
  • Scan and file all relevant documentation and certification.
  • Facilitate loading/unloading of vehicles as required for deliveries, forklift, pallet truck and other lifting devices if fully trained where to do so and in line with manual handling procedures where appropriate.
  • Creation of delivery notes via Sales Orders for outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of stock with guidance of the Procurement Supervisor.
  • Raising of material requisitions for managing of stock levels.
  • Daily interaction with company staff for requests and stock issue sheets.
  • Packaging and delivering of Sales Orders as required by the company.
  • Receiving of materials from out with the company that require receiving manually and receipted via company IT system.
  • Raising of stock requisitions including PPE required for onshore/offshore personnel.
  • Maintain company vehicle in a clean and tidy manner and ensure vehicle(s) are fuelled and or charged.
  • Ensure personal PPE is worn when appropriate.

Desired Qualities/Qualifications:

  • Good communicator.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
  • Basic use and understanding or willingness to learn working with Excel and company systems.
  • Driving licence.
  • Forklift Licence 5T.
